University Spaces

Space management in the university is managed by the Ecotourism Campus, Asset and Ceremony Unit, Office of Asset and Development. Some of the spaces managed by the unit are for rental to students, staff and public. However, the Registrar office (Academic) is in charge of rental applications of the main lecture halls received from lecturers, students or staffs.
This unit is also in charge of the space for rental purposes by staff organizing events and charging participants or other organizations (government or private sector) which involve space managed by the Services Division/ Colleges/Faculties such as the following:
1. Sultan Iskandar Hall
        a. Foyer and Lobby
        b. VVIP Room
        c. Council Room
        d. Chancellor Room
2. All the Central Lecture Halls (Block L50, N24 and P19)
    i. Main Lecture Halls
        a. Lecture Hall 1 – 3 (Block L50)
        b. Lecture Halls 4 – 6 (Block P19)
        c. Lecture Halls 7 – 9 (Block N24)
    ii. Lecture halls in the faculties
    iii. Seminar rooms in the faculties
    iv. Lecture rooms in the faculties and Block N24
    v. Students Union Building
   vi. Examinations Halls
a. Sultan Ismail Mosqueb. Examination Hall at P16, FKE
c. Examination Hall at C09, FKA
d. Examination Hall at M47, FKA
e. Other Examination Halls in the faculties
3. CTL Hall
    Administration Building:
        a. Main Meeting Room
        b. Foyer and Lobby
        c. VIP Room
        d. Banquet Hall
        e. Senate Hall

Spaces rented to public are: the Sultan Iskandar Hall, Banquet Hall, Senate Room and Main Meeting Room at the Administration Building, Central Lecture Hall, etc. The rental rate charged is competitive and comparable with the current market rate.
