  Menanti Zone site is located at the northeast corner and the zone is designed for various sports and recreational activities. These designs are to relate sports activities at the close by fields. The selection of landscape living is more based on the usage of Malaysians daily life. Attraction of the Menanti Zone function is to change the undulating topography in the entire zone. “Drinking fountain and public toilets or dressing rooms are also available for use by users who visit this park.

Laman Kenderaan

 Facilities provided in this zone is a parking lot that will be able to accommodate UTM students and staff vehicles and also having semi-passive recreation activities.

Laman Kanak-kanak

  Recreational activities will be centered in the middle zone by providing toys to the “earth-Mound. Site selection and children site design are adopted from the economic resources of the Malay community in Malaysia near the waters of fishery. Canoe model is manipulated and used as a model for the design of the site range. Similarly, platform is provided. The activities are quite isolated from the lake to minimize disturbance to the environment and to encourage the presence of wildlife, especially birds. However, a circulation facility in the minimum size to reduce the “intervention” is also provided so that visitors can gain knowledge about life on the edge of the lake.

Laman Ilmu

  This zone is the green zone and the approach is more to get an alive landscape placement. The entire zone is connected by pedestrian walkways, which also functions as a cycle loop for the users. The original feature of this site is an open green retained area. In additional there are tropical plants and trees function as shade and to rest.

Laman Sihat

  There are tools built in the surrounding site as a string of activities from Menanti Zone for users who want to exercise in the morning and evening. In general, this Menanti Zone site will be used as areas for activities involving open space particularly those involving the public such as the Fishing Competition and the Graduation Party. The open green area in this zone will be used for activities involving large groups like martial arts, tai chi and other co-curricular activities.

Laman Danau

  An endowment is also available in the southeast zone which is intended to direct the view towards the “focal point” of the main University namely the Sultan Ismail Mosque and the Administration Building. Endowments are using tropical images, as well as elements of other stiff landscaping. Endowments are connected to the Recreation Zone site and Menanti Zone site using wooden bridge. The area is also classified as a Zone of Bancah Landscape Area of adopting the “broadwalk” use on the water surface.
