Service Cluster, Office of The Deputy Vice Chancellor (Development) plays a major role in managing services in UTM. The cluster’s responsibilities include the management of university vehicles (UTMFleet) commercial facilities, commercial spaces, and business outlets With a staff of 65 competent and dedicated staff, Service Cluster is divided into 3 units, UTM Fleet Unit, Business Outlet Unit and One Stop Space Rental Unit With the restructuring of the Service Division enacted on 14 December 2017, the Service Division which has been under the management of the Office of Asset Management (PHB) has been restructured and now is part of the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development). Despite the re-structuring of the Service Division (now known as Service Cluster), this entity will remain committed to providing quality services to the University and Malaysian society holistically in the spirit of expressing UTM’s ultimate aspiration for unlocking assets for UTM’s future sustainability.
