UTM Equine Centre was established in 1995 and inaugurated by His Highness Tunku Ibrahim Ismail, the son of Sultan Iskandar, Tunku Mahkota Johor on 14 August 1996. It is the first Equine Center established among institutions of higher learning (IPTA) in Malaysia. The main purpose of its establishment was to promote equestrian sports among UTM students and staff and the public in the state of Johor.<\/span><\/p>\n
