Kumpulan penyelidik yang terlibat adalah daripada Institute for Smart Infrastructure and Innovative Construction (ISIIC), UTM Construction Research Centre (UTM-CRC), Pusat Kajian Alam Bina Dunia Melayu (KALAM) dan Centre of Electrical Energy Systems (CEES).<\/p>\n

Prof. Dr. Muhd Zaimi \u00a0yang juga Pengarah Kanan ISIIC, berkata pihak industri turut terlibat dalam pembinaan UTM Eco-Home dengan memberi penajaan, antaranya Bluescope Lysaght, Poly Glass Fiber Insulation, Stagno Tech, Ditrolic Solar Technology dan Chee Kong Engineering & Construction Sdn Bhd.<\/p>\n

UTM Eco-Home berkeluasan 1,450 kaki persegi, mengambil masa kira-kira setahun untuk dibina dengan peruntukan hampir RM 500,000. UTM Eco-Home telah direkabentuk dan dibina dengan ciri-ciri lestari, lengkap dengan teknologi rumah pintar serta penggunaan sistem tenaga diperbaharui.<\/span><\/p>\n
