Urban Garden@Bunus River receiving a visit from Tsukuba University. About 20 students of Tsukuba University accompanying by 15 MJIIT students have volunteered to plant trees at downstream area of Bunus river. Other volunteerism activities they participate are monitoring the river water quality, making a compost from organic wastes and ploging.<\/p>\n

Aims of this program is to educate and increase awareness among participants about the public role in environmental sustainability.<\/p>\n

The students also take part in colouring and book sharing, activities initiated by BERNAMA.<\/p>\n

According to Puan Hasnita from BERNAMA, reading or colouring at riverside(outdoor) is an effective way for distress and at the same time improving mental focus which is good to be practiced as healthy-success lifestyle.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
