Welcome to the official website of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.

The Department of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development) (JTNCP) is committed to supporting UTM’s strategic development agenda through sustainable, resilient and forward-looking initiatives. Development encompasses not only physical infrastructure and facilities, but also the creation of a conducive campus environment, the well-being of the university community, and the continuous enhancement of UTM’s capacity to respond to technological advancements and future needs.

As the higher education landscape continues to evolve, UTM remains committed to strengthening an innovative, integrated, inclusive and sustainable development ecosystem. Achieving this aspiration requires strong collaboration among the university community, industry partners, government agencies and other strategic stakeholders. Through these partnerships, we strive to ensure that every development initiative is carefully planned, effectively implemented and delivers meaningful value to the university and society.

I firmly believe that the excellence of UTM’s development is driven by strategic planning, effective governance, collaborative efforts and the unwavering commitment of our people. Every member of the university community has an important role to play in shaping an environment that supports academic excellence, research, innovation and the overall advancement of the university.

Moving forward, JTNCP will continue to strengthen its efforts in delivering quality development initiatives that are aligned with UTM’s strategic direction and long-term aspirations. We will embrace innovation and digital transformation, promote sustainable practices, optimise the utilisation of resources, and continuously improve the quality of our facilities and services.

Together, let us build an ecosystem that enables UTM to remain agile, competitive and resilient while creating lasting value for our students, staff, partners and the wider community.
