On 25th October 2014, our Deputy Vice Chancellor (Development), Prof. Dr. Azlan bin Abdul Rahman was invited to the launching ceremony of UTM Gerakan Mahasiswa TINTEC Programme in Pagoh inaugurated by YB. Tuan Haji Ismail bin Mohamed (Exco Pertanian Johor). The opening took place at the banks of Sungai Kundang Ulu which was also attended by principals, fellows, participants, village head, and 50 families, Offices of Health and many others. In the previous year, TINTEC has conducted community service activities to help to teach rural communities using computer technology and so on. Various activities conducted such as Jamuan Mesra Kampung, Exhibition Expo , Mobile Clinic, Blood Donation Program, Fishing Competition, collaborative activities (UTM) in collaboration with the Majlis Daerah Tangkak and Pemuda UMNO, Pusat Kesihatan Daerah Ledang and various other activities. Deputy Vice Chancellor (Development) also attended the Prime Talk “Hijrah Rohani” organized by Jelajah Astro Kasih at SMK Tengku Temenggong Ahmad on the 25th October 2014. The program, which began on October 24 and ended on the night of October 25 with a closing ceremony and a photo session by the Deputy Prime Minister, Tan Sri Dato’ Hj Muhyiddin bin Hj Mohd Yassin with UTM students.
