Bangi, 14th November 2014: Members of Board of Directors of University (LPU), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) gathered in the LPU Retreat Programme 2014 to review the strategies and UTM Global Plan program 2012-2020 (Phase II: 2015-2017) for the next step which is to prepared the final draft of that plan.
This programme is intended to present the recommendations and suggestion of UTM main strategies and initiatives on selective programme or UTM Plan Global project 2012-2020 (Phase II:2015-2017) to the members of Boards of Directors.
In addition, this programme held with purpose to get comment and feedback as well as confirmation of LPU members on UTM key strategies and UTM Global Plan 2012-2020 (Phase II: 2015-2017) which has been presented.
This programme which ended on 16th November 2014 was organized by the Office of Vice-Chancellor in collaboration with Office of Corporate Affairs and the Office of the Registrar at Hotel Bangi-Putrajaya
Keynote address on National Higher Education Blueprint: Aspirations, Strategies and Key Initiatives delivered by the Hon. Prof. Dato ‘Ir. Dr. Mohd Saleh Jaafar, Consultant to the Higher Education Blueprint, Office of the Chief Secretary II, Ministry of Education.
Topics of presentation in the retreat session are the Global Reputation, Excellence in Teaching and Learning, Strengthening Its Ecosystem Research, Students at the Heart of the System, Strengthening Institutions for Excellence Critical Enablers and also report recent developments concerning the Autonomous University.
